Our History

How this idea came about

Paws for a Pawty is more than simply spending some time with kittens. Not only is it a unique experience, it’s a proven scientific fact that being around animals has a positive impact on how we feel. So how did we come up with this idea?

We love our fur babies, having just one kitten is enough to put a smile on your face, but having loads of them running around is another level of cuteness, it’s kitty heaven!

We love our kitties. When we got our Ragdolls, we got five! They brought us so much joy, especially when the world was a different place thanks to the global pandemic!

Having five little energetic fluff bags was an amazing experience. Of course we took lots of photos and videos, but we actually wanted to share it. After pretty much everyone who knew us (friends and family alike!) came round to see them, we thought we want more people to experience the feeling of playing with these little balls of cuteness. We wanted to really share it!

We took a few of our little Raggies into the office.  We experienced first hand how crazy everyone was. People couldn’t wait to play with them. It got us thinking, imagine being able to take these babies everywhere!

Ragdolls really are the best cats (ok we’re slightly biased), they can be trained to go on walks with a lead, play fetch and follow their owners around everywhere! They love people. Perhaps that’s the reason they are the only cats to be nicknamed “puppy cats”.  You’re saying “aww” aren’t you. We know, we can hear you!

Let’s face it, being around a bunch of gorgeous kittens almost never happens, and being around a bunch of white, fluffy Ragdolls is something you will most likely never see! You might not have even seen a Ragdoll let alone heard of one before.

Spending time with our sociable and playful kitties will be an unforgettable amazing experience and one that you share fur a long time! It’s guaranteed to even put a smile on the faces of the people you’re telling the story to!

The benefits of being around kitties

Spending time with cats and kittens will surely put you in a good mood. Even watching cat videos makes us smile. Ten videos later, and we’re still watching reels on Instagram or videos on YouTube. Why? It makes us feel better, there’s no question about it, our feline friends are good for our well-being.

Who can resist having a warm cat take a nap on your lap doesn’t make you feel good? What makes that feeling even better, when they give your thighs a good kneading (also known as making biscuits!). It’s a great stress buster!

Life is full of stress at times, at home and at work. Imagine this after a busy, stressful weekend, you go back to work. Ah, the workplace. You’ve got meetings, deadlines, your inbox is full of emails, your colleagues are also stressed. Now imagine, if today was the day your company had arranged a special surprise. You’re invited to play with gorgeous fluffy, little kittens!

You enter the room and find yourself gobsmacked! There’s a bunch of adorable little fluff bags, standing on their back legs, looking up at you, waiting for you to play with them! Surely, now you’re smiling? Monday blues? What Monday blues? You’re relaxed and happy. Our kitties will calm you down, take away your stress and fill you with happiness. Positive mental health benefits all round!

You’ll also be helping our little kitties too. Before they go to their furever homes, you’ll be helping them to socialise! Something that cats don’t often get the chance to do. Kittens love to play, by being around people and learning to interact with them, will no doubt help their development and social skills in the long run. Plus, they will absolutely love all the attention you give them!
